Embodied Vinyasa Class Description

  • Embodied Vinyasa - a hybrid yoga class that combines vinyasa yoga and embodied movement.

  • Only 9 people per class.

  • Student focused classes with a lot of personal attention.

 

Embodied Vinyasa is a hybrid class I created that combines vinyasa yoga and embodied movement based on Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen's work Body Mind Centering. Vinyasa is a system of yoga in which movements form a flowing sequence in coordination with the breath. Embodiment is the process of developing our awareness to sense the many different systems in our body that can offer us support. All that investigation wrapped inside sun salutations, inversions, backbends, twists and forward bends.

Monday & Wednesday: 9:30-11:00am | Friday: 12:00-1:30pm
